Course description:

The mission of the Andover College travel and hospitality management program is to prepare students with the knowledge, technical skills, and work habits required for entry-level positions in the travel and hospitality industry. All aspects of travel are studied, including airline, rail, cruise, motor coach, meetings, food and beverage, and accommodations. The ability to work in teams and to understand coworkers and client needs in all modes of communication is an integral part of success in the travel and hospitality industry. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates will be awarded an associate of applied science degree.

Entry requirements:

An applicant seeking admission to Andover College must be a high school graduate or possess a General Education Development (GED) certificate or possess a Home Study certificate or transcript from a Home Study program that is equivalent to high school level and is recognized by the student's home state. All applicants must complete an informational interview. They must obtain minimum TOEFL scores of 477 on the paper-based test or 153 on the computer-based test or Kaplan’s most advanced-level English language courses, if English is not the student’s primary language.

Application details:

Students should submit the completed application form with a $100 application fee, official transcripts of all work done at the secondary level or above (official transcripts submitted that are not in English will require an official translation), official TOEFL exam scores, declaration of finances and completed health form.
