Course description:
The program in American Studies has as its focus the cultures, institutions, arts, structure, and social processes of the United States. It emphasizes interdisciplinary work which integrates disciplinary perspectives. Students choose two broad areas within which to work.
Entry requirements:
Applicants to an undergraduate program must have earned the equivalent of a 12 year high school diploma or secondary certificate. Students should have an overall Grade Point Average on any college credit completed should be 2.5 (based on 4.0 = A). College courses with grades below C (2.0) are not transferable. Students must also achieve a TOEFL minimum score of 550 (paper-based) or 213 (computer-based) or 80 (internet-based)), or 6.5 on the IELTS.
