Course description:
The Doctor of Ministry Degree is an advanced professional degree designed for clergy and lay leaders who have a Master of Divinity degree or its equivalent, which means a Bachelor of Divinity or a 90-credit Master's Degree in theological studies. While the degree builds on a foundation in general theological studies, its over-arching objective is to foster creative practical and scholarly education to address the degree program's threefold purpose: To provide a program of studies where experienced religious leaders can engage complex issues related to their vocation while drawing upon theological and theoretical resources, To deepen creative reflection, spiritual formation and scholarship in an area of specialization of ministry, To inspire reflective practitioners who embody and encourage daring and collaborative leadership in communities of faith and other ministry settings.
Entry requirements:
Applicants must have at least three years experience in ministry subsequent to their first graduate theological degree. Applicants must also demonstrate evidence of a capacity for an advanced level of competence and reflection, with an ability to maintain a 3.3 cumulative average and to write a project of high quality.

The required length for the Personal Statement is fi ve to ten double-spaced pages. Area of Focus: Identify a critical issue in ministry you plan to explore through a D.Min. program. Official Transcripts: All offi cial transcripts of academic work completed since high school are required, Letters of Recommendation: Three letters of recommendation are required. At least one recommendation must be from a pastor or church offi cial. Students should submit all application materials in one packet by, or before, the deadline.
