I finished my MS in EEC at the San Jose in 2006. I specialized in Data Comm and Networking. The university had a good research unit in this area.
Entry requirements include good GRE and TOEFL scores. I was working as a service Engineer at Supreme Telecom. I was involved in R&D , trouble shooting repairing and servicing of al nokia mobile phones. This organization was the national service partner of Nokia. This work experience definitely worked in my favor.
San Jose is definitely not the most reasonable parts of town. However this area gives students the access to a number of god employers which is a definite advantage.
Plenty of job opportunities in this region!!
