About my univ...Its University of Nevada,Las Vegas(UNLV)...its a pretty ok university...it doesnt really have a good ranking...but its got a lot of funding...assistantships...all students studying there are funded.....their fees is waived.....so you dont end up paying lakhs of rupees for your masters degree....you study for free....and its situated in the centre of the city Las vegas....so you wont have problems going for shopping and stuff...i mean groceries....everything is close by....you wouldnt need a car....its a city life unlike other universities where its situated deep in villages...facilities are pretty good......apartments are close by to univ....just two mins walk....course work is ok....not the best....but its pretty easy....getting grades....its not very strict....i would say this would be the perfect univ for peoplewho just wanna finish M.S easily and have good time....but if u r looking to be placed after your m.s this wont be the best choice.....and weather wise...its pretty good...its just like chennai....very hot in the summer....winters are ok...not too cold...just a jacket would do......perfect weather for indian guys....thats pretty much it.
