I had always wanted to specialize in Cad/CAM in my Masters and Northern Illinois provided the perfect setting for me. I had also taken courses in Mechanical softwares like Pro/e , catia and Autocad….and on the advice of my graduate school adviser. My project work in undergraduation was not in field of CAD/CAM… it was in the field of Pollution control equipment but still I was attracted towards CAD/CAM and ended up specialising in it at Illinois !!

My Acads at the time of applying was 65%, Gre 1150 and Toefl 267. Got the visa easily...no issues.
