Brenau's 50-acre main campus is located in Gainesville, Georgia. Established in 1878 as the Georgia Baptist Female Seminary, the institution became Brenau College in 1900. Brenau University has four divisions: the Women's College, the Evening and Weekend College, the Academy and the Online College which offer under graduate, graduate and certificate programs. Also, selected graduate and undergraduate majors are available through distance education programs offered in the Online College, including a popular RN-to-BSN nursing program.
